The Tony’s Meats brand of product can be found in many independent and large chain retail outlets throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland/Labrador, and Prince Edward Island. We continue to develop innovative and unique products which will help us increase our presence outside of Atlantic Canada in the years to come!
Tony’s Meats Ltd. currently employs 55 people in Antigonish, NS. Our Federally inspected facility currently processes fresh and processed pork and beef products under SQF Level 2 certification and HACCP accreditation. We market those products across Canada. Our fresh products are marketed under the Tony’s brand and our processed products are marketed under the Tony’s Meats and Mr. Donair brand names. Our processed products marketed under the Tony’s brand currently include over fifty (50) products shipped throughout Atlantic Canada. We also produce many private label products for those large retail and food service customers who have their “secret recipe” within this section of our business. Over the past ten years, processing has been our main area of growth as we have utilized our Federal Inspection, and location, to gain market share and create new markets. This is the main area of our business we know will show strong growth in the future.
We also work with our retail and foodservice partners to develop products that address the nutritional, flavour, and convenience of today’s consumer. Whether it is Tony’s Meats brand or a private label product, our talented research & development team utilizes a HACCP based and SQF certified approach, to develop proprietary recipes, product specifications and packaging concepts that fit your organizational needs.
